Results-Based Budgeting (RBB)

Task force members are Principals and other site budgeting leaders, central office staff that support the budgeting process, and interested parents and teachers. Task force members will research and analyze the OUSD budgeting model and other successful equity-based budgeting models, and provide input and feedback on the policy recommendation and on-going evaluation process.

A small group is meeting from late October to early December to offer short-term solutions to the challenges presented by the current system for the 2011-12 budget development cycle. Beginning in January, all interested community members (Principals, parents, teachers, staff, community partners, and others) may participate in one or more two-hour sessions designed to review basics of the existing system, co-create criteria for a successful system, and give input about how the system should be designed for implementation beginning in the 2012-13 school year.
